GigaSpaces

Gigaspaces is a commercial in-memory data grid, allowing for high throughput message passing between Java processes.

They offer three level of service:

• GigaSpaces XAP Community - A free, single node (instance) version, where no special scalability or performance requirements are envisioned.
• GigaSpaces XAP Data - a licensed in-memory data grid, allowing for data sharing and message passing between Java processes.
• GigaSpaces XAP Premium - An application server version of the in-memory data grid, allowing for massive scalability and performance.
